What this is
An independent tracker of bargaining between unions and employers in Australia. Each page is one union and one employer, with what the public record shows, newest first.
What counts as a development
- Ballot ordered, open or decided: the Fair Work Commission (FWC) ordered a protected action ballot, and what happened to it. A passed ballot only authorises industrial action. We don't track whether action happens.
- Window extended: the FWC allowed more than 30 days for action to start.
- Agreement lodged, in operation, expired or terminated: an enterprise agreement's life, from lodging to expiry.
- FWC decisions on bargaining: bargaining orders and similar. We note a decision was made; the outcome is in it.
The FWC doesn't link agreements to ballots, so we match them by employer name and show one as a development only when it names the union. Check the linked record.
How far back
Developments start from 2023. Where the FWC has older agreement records, the page says how far back they go and links to the FWC's search.

Before you rely on this
- Not legal advice. Ask a lawyer, your union or the Fair Work Ombudsman.
- It may be incomplete or out of date. If this site and an FWC notice differ, the notice is right.
- Independent of the FWC, any union, employer or government. Naming a party isn't a comment on it.
